About Soutra Medieval Hospital
Soutra Medieval Hospital was run by the "Master & Brethren"after the Augustinian Rule from ca. AD 1164 to 1464. untilca.1650.The site has a 500 year accumulation of archeo-medical evidence which is currently under investigation. The building in the panorama is being restored as part of a visitor centre.
