About Seven One Seven
We had only one day to shoot the entire hotel. The guests could not be disturbed and we were not allowed to use artificial lighting. As the hotel is very sparsely lighted we had to use very long exposure times up to 30 seconds per shot. Our aim was to remain the very special atmosphere of the hotel, its quality and quietness in the panoramas. We think that we have succeeded in this.The hardware we used for this project was a Nikon APS camera and a Kaidan rigs. We processed the films with the new Nikon Coolscanner. Retouch was done with Adobe Photoshop and the final movies were realized with Apple QTVR Studio.
